Welding on exhaust tips
Hey guys:
I just bought exhaust tips for my white '99. To put them on, I used some JB Weld - is this sufficient, in most cases, for the tips to remain in place?

As long as they're not the one's that have the brackets, you will be fine with the J&B. Mine have been on for 8000 miles and are very secure. These work fine.
These DON'T!!! Had one fall off!!! The weld to the bracket failed and the bracket was still screwed on tight!!!

I would have a muffler shop just tack weld them in place - couldn't cost too much for just that.
