its a software/hardware package that lets you "edit" the tune in your ls1 powered car or truck.
kinda like a hpp3, but much more powerful!

Check out the "Scan and Tune" forum. Lots of great info over there. There are several packages similar to/possibly better than LS1 Edit. You'll see discussions on the pros/cons of each in that forum. I'm contemplating buying one too, just don't know which one yet.

i would go with hp tuners anyway, if you get a 04 cable, you can tune any 04 vette. if you get ls1 edit, you can only tune your car.

I had a tuner do my edit-I paid one price (Breathless Performance), then every time I add a perfomance mod they "re-edit" for free.
My original settings are saved by VIN #, so if I ever return the vette to stock I can download the factory settings again
