Need Help Identifying Interior Color
I have an '04 CE. The interior color is stated as Shale. The interior is actually a two tone(medium brown/tan). I ordered interior touch up paint(Shale/RPO154). Much to my surprise, this was the "tan" color, matching my floor mats and the bottom half of my door panels. My question is, what is the medium brown color (i.e. color code) of my dash, steering wheel, sun visors?

I can't help you much, but I do believe that GM at one time referred to the two colors as Shale and Oyster. The only recent paint chart I have seen is for 2003 and it only lists codes/numbers (RPO Code, MFR Code & Stock Number) for the Shale:

Ken King at vette essentials filled me in on this one. I also have a '04 CE. The lighter color (your seats) is shale whereas the darker color (the dash and the center console) is called neutral
