Default epoxy exhaust tips

The previous owner had them welded on and it has weld bubbles on the clips and I'm worried that if I re-weld on those welds it'll break off or get weaker. So my question is, is it a good idea to use epoxy on the clips to keep em on? IF so what kind should I use

...oh yeah they're corsa tips.

Try J&B weld. It worked great for me.

We've used an industrial epoxy to seal aluminum intake plates to cast iron heads on 1000+ hp antique engines with complete success for years, but these are also bolted on. I'm not sure how you would be using the epoxy (configuration of the parts), but I'd be very leary of just epoxy alone. If you can add a screw or some such as a retainer if the epoxy comes loose, it would be worth a try.

I don't recall the name of the stuff we use, but if you are interested, IM me and I can find out in a couple days.

All the best.

I mounted my Corsa tips with the supplied screws then used JB Weld as a little extra security. So far so good!
