Thanks to Corvette Forum Tech Tips. Easy job Nylon spacers
3/4 od X 7/16 id X 13/64 (.203) thick. Pick the spacers up at a home center had to open id up from 3/8.
In the site it has step by step instruction. Except they used a metal washer that took a lot of griding to fix. I got the size of the washer from another thread. I was very pleased the way it turned out.

My seat has been rocking about 1/4" for 2 years now but the warranty is out and I heard the dealer charges about $750 to fix this "GM engineering mistake". I'll fix mine next week,
The one thing I've never understood on this problem, is why it doesn't happen to every car all the time.
The fix notes slack inside the "box" holding the rods together and puts a spacer inside the box to correct it...but what was there in the first place? Why didn't the seat rock from day one? Why don't ALL seats rock?
