This is my 2002 vert currently at stock height. What do you believe I should lower it to . Im trying to go with a aggressive look. I have tinted the windows and have installed the rear blackouts. I will be doing the front soon. Any other exterior mods that you may think would look good on my torch red vert.
Mine is pretty low and I have no problems at all.It all depends on how good your roads are and how you drive it.I rarely scrape the front rubber spoiler.
I lowered my car on stock bolts with no bushings cut.... it dropped about an inch and a half after the first year, now five years later it's down about 2 1/2 inches from stock.. and still on stock bolts with no bushings cut..

That is interesting. My is lowered an inch without cutting the bushings. It has been only 8 months. I hope it goes down another inch. Any explanation ? I am not an engineer but love to hear a good explanation.
it would seem to me that evils car has gotten lower over the years due to the leaf spring becoming weaker over the years all that weight on the spring over time has stressed it and probably weakened it
not an engineers answer but sounds pretty good in theory
Start with lowering all the way on stock bolts, should only take you about an hour. My guess is that you will want it lower after that but it's a good place to start. Generally ride doesn't suffer much until you go beyond stock bolts.
Yes, Evil's car is not the norm so don't expect it to be totally slammed on stock bolts like his is.
Good luck and post pics after your done!!!

I've not done it to mine...they look better lowered, by I'm scraping the air dam every time I pull into my driveway... I can appreciate the looks, but I don't want the hassle.

Yes it looks really low and I am sure it is but Evil has bigger wheels and tires which will make it look even lower....

i put bigger wheels and tires on my altima at the same height i didnt add any height to the original diameter of the factory wheel and tire even though the wheels were 2 inches bigger however the look was horrible the big wheels with lower profile tires gave it a 4x4 look and made the wheel gap even more noticable than on factory wheels
actually evils rims and tires are shorter than the factory wheel and tire on the front by 1/2 inch so actually his car will be slightly lower (1/4 inch) than another c5 lowered on factory bolts due to smaller tire diameter
however the back is 1/2 inch larger so it would be 1/4 inch higher in the rear
but i think you missed what he said when he stated that it got that way over 2 years meaning the suspension eventually sagged more than before due to stress and what not as well as the leaf spring giving more over the years
