Every extended warranty contract I have read so far specifically excludes the entire vehicle if the exhaust system is changed. Is there a comprehensive warranty available that will allow the use of an aftermarket cat-back? Thanks.
Hmmmm...Last spring I bought a WarrantyDirect policy for my '98. A guy representing WD came to my house to inspect my car. He also took about 15 pictures of every portion of the outside of the car, plus under the hood and the odometer reading. My B+B Tri Flo aftermarket mufflers & tips were in atleast two photos (so was my Blackwing airfilter). The guy told me his report PLUS all the photos would be emailed to WD for evaluation. The next day I was advised by WD that I was approved and a policy was issued to me. Go figure??????

Warranty Direct turned me down. They will not offer warranties on any Z06 Corvettes.
I just had about $3000.00 of work done on my '99 Vette, and I have the GMPP extended warranty. A GMPP rep actually came down to see the car, and OK the repairs. I have the PRT exhaust with Speedway tips, and there wasn't a problem.
Just bought a warranty from 1SourceAutoWarranty. I have Borla Stingers, and the sales rep told me "anything you do after the catalytic converters is ok. Headers is a no-no. Blackwing is ok."
