The gear box should have a Getrag metal tag on the upper right hand side. It'll have the gear ratio on it. You'll have to crawl under the car to check it out.

thanks.
It's easy with an automatic transmission. Accelerate to 75 MPH in 3rd gear and the tachometer will read 3150 rpm if you have the 3.15 performance axle, 2730 rpm of you have the 2.73 I wouldn't recommend it on I-465. Maybe I-70 or I-65

Thank you guys
I don't know how much easier it could be than driving the car as mentioned in my first post. I know it's raining here today, but it's certainly an option.
I think I remember reading that at 70 m.p.h.(in overdrive) you will be running at around 1945 rpm's if you have the 3.15's...If you have the stock 2.73's it's lower(around 1700 rpm's)...

You may want to read the 3rd post for the exact readings.

This quote is 100% correct (assuming you have stock rear tires).
2.73 in drive @ 70 mph = 1685 rpm
3.15 in drive @ 70 mph = 1945 rpm
3.42 in drive @ 70 mph = 2110 rpm
