Thinking of putting on used FLP header system i found on my 02 Z06. I seem to recall you have this system and wanted to know how much power you made with this system on your 03 Z at the wheels, when you just had bolt ons and whether you tested the power with high flow cats and no cats and also ask you who tuned your car? ALSO, give me your overall impressions of this system in regards to whether you recommend it, etc.

I dynoed my car completely stock and it made 340 hp and 338 lbs/ft at the rear wheels. This was at 400 miles , A/F ratio was 10.2-10.3 and the coolant temp was around 225 degrees. The next time I dynoed was at 1700 miles with the following mods ; FLP headers (w/ off-road pipes) , Halltech carbon fiber elbow w/ Z1000 race filter (stock air bridge) and MAF Translator. Coolant temp was 185 degrees and A/F ratio was 12.9-13.0. 383 rwhp & 367 rwtq. When the car was stock it ran 115.5 - 115.9 at the track and after those three mods it was consistently over 118 mph. On my '02 I tested it with cats and then without. The cats will cost you exactly 10 rwhp on the dyno and about 1 mph at the track. I love this header system! It is a true bolt-on set up. I love how easy it is to switch between cats and off-road pipes , and after 2 years it still looks great. I run my car with the off-road pipes and thru the stock mufflers. I think it's one of the best sounding exhaust systems I've ever heard , and there have been quite a few people who would agree with me.
