Just installed a Hurst "WOW"
Just finished my newest mod with a Hurst. "WOW, WOW". All went very well, including the spring adjustment. A very nice quality product and the throws are incredibly short as compared to stock. Spring setting was a little stiff but I figure with use it should soften. Now I need to find a new shift **** and probably a new leather boot. Great mod, don't know why it wasn't a factory option.

That was my first mod. Probably the best $200 I'll spend on the car.

Definitely a future mod for me. Right after the Window Valet, Carravaggio spoiler, LT's, H/C package, CCW's...

A lot of people really like the aftermarket shifters. Maybe one of these days I'll get to drive someones and see how much difference there is.
Congrats on the new mod

This is an awesome mod... I installed mine two weeks ago. Either it has loosened up or I have gotten used to it because it feels very smooth. It's funny though because when I first installed it the throw was very short compared to stock but now that I have gotten used to it... it still seems to long. Much like the vette itself.. when I first got it it seem very fast (because it is) but now I wish it was faster... doesn't seem fast enough

I love the Hurst. Here's my MGW Gripper **** and VE short shifter boot (also did the e-brake while I was in there).

The Hurst shifter was my Corvette's Christmas present this year. The shifter is stiffer and you need to apply a little more muscle (at least at first), but the sucker is short, solid and a great mod.
