Default HID Upgrade

I am looking upgrade to a plug n' play HID system for my 98 Coupe. I want to retain the pop up lights. Looking for opinions/recommendations on which brands and color system i should go for. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance

Phillips. Had them over a year. No complaints from oncoming drivers. Aimed them lower, still work great. Plug & play. Nuff said.

Not available today, but soon---I will be offering a projector style headlamp kit for the pop-up C5. It will offer either halgoen or HID lights sources and both will be much better than oem. The package will be offered as a DOT legal kit---not a retro fit. It will be plug and play and offer a complete wiring harness.

Hey mray,

Do you have these on your car now? Maybe we'll have to schedule another get together and take a look at them...

Looking to do something like this myself. My gripe is, my brights have to wide of a beam, and aren't very bright. The dims are brighter (appears so anyway), and my PIAA's that i put in place of my fog lights are better, just don't go as far. Dims and highs are stock. Looking at those 6k or 8k HID kit mentioned above.
In the mean time, i just use the piaa's with the dims.

Guys---FWIW---the higher the K value on a HID gives you less actual light output.

I started buyilding them over the last two weeks and decided to use another light source that hasn't been relaesed to the public yet. I expect I will have something to show shortly.

I just got the RevXtreme HID lights for Christmas. These things are awesome. Took me about 30 minutes to install both bulbs and ballasts. Looks great. I did some drive by tests with a couple of friends in their cars. Not one complained about being blinded either from the front or rear. I believe they are in the range of ~$320. Well worth the $.
