Default Replacement WCC chrome letters

Hi folks

Being lazy I haven't called WCC yet about this, but I wanted to see if anyone has ever ordered replacement letters for the chrome letter emblems that fill in the "Corvette" logo on the rear fascia. I need new "T"s. I worry that I will end up having to order an entire set again. Anyone ever just replaced individual letters before?

Thx

Check with Barry at SSInserts.com. Even though you didnt get your originals from him, I bet you that he would be willing to help you out with what you need. I doubt that WCC will do that for you.

Thanks for the link!

Just got off the phone with WCC. Turns out this emblem set has a lifetime warranty so they are going to send me the replacement letters that I need! Awesome! Excellent customer service too.

Anyone comment on how often letters "fall off." I'm considering them, but I don't want the hassle of there falling off, regardless of whether there is a warranty or not.

They actually stay on very well. The kit is well done. It includes the letters with adhesive backing and adhesive primer that you "paint" onto the application surface.

The reason I had to replace one was because the "TT" got bent going on (the "TT" letter is much more fragile than the others and I wasn't going slowly enough). Since it was bent, a portion of the second T kept peeling away from the fascia. If I had done it more patiently I can't imagine there would have been a problem. I tried "repairing" it by removing the "TT" letters (which took some work, and the speaks highly of the primer and adhesive) and bending everything back to shape, then putting on new adhesive backing (that was fun...not). Came out well enough to hold me over until the replacement arrive, but there's just no bending that stuff back. Came out flat but a bit knarled up. Not good enough for me, so that 's why I'm getting a replacement.

I highly recommend the set though. Excellent stuff. I have a set for the front on it's way now.

Cheers,
