electrical (?) question
just got out of my '00 coupe...noticed that the radio went off when i pulled the key out of the ignition-normally stays on until i open the door...also noticed the lights did not flash when i locked the doors with the fob...checked, and the doors were locked...unlocked and locked again-same thing-no flash...also noticed that the lights did not come on when i unlocked (i place a windshield sunscreen on which covers the light sensor on the dash, and it thinks its dark)...anyone experienced this before/have any suggestions?

Here are just four threads that talked about DIC settings reverting back to a default due to bad ground or a battery going south......
I did an "advanced search" on DIC Settings
So many of these electrical questions are usually answered by another question....."How's your battery?" If it's O.E.M., on a 2000 it probably should be at the very minimum checked. Also, if it's original, the Delco had a tendancy to leak acid, most commonly replaced by an Optima Red Top 75/35 or a 34/78.
