Can any one tell me where to get information on materials and instructions on insulating my C5 Roadie. I have a friend that said he found a site that gave all details on insulation, where to buy, and pictures on how to pull the liner out of the trunk and cab in order to install the stuff.
Here's lots of pictures, http://www.myvette.us/firstattempt.htm I haven't done a write up on it yet, you might want to look at some of Evil-Twins threads, he's an expert when it comes to C5's and noise/insulation. What yo'ull need is some Frost King, from your local Lowes, and we used some Reflectix over the consol to try to cool it down a little. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Mike Mercury should chime in he has the whole process on his site
I'm going to stuff the rockers first, and then test drive it. Everyone says that the rocker panel/fender area stuffing provides about 80% to 90% of the total available improvement. If you try this first, and the noise reduction is enough for you, it will save a lot of work pulling interior.
There are some GREAT posts and site links regarding the install of sound proofing here.....Thanks to ALL of you for sharing your process and results. It really helps those of us considering the journey into the quiet zone.
Is there any soundproofing that can be done for under the hood or firewall? I'd like to quell some of the valvetrain noise from my h/c work. I love my exhaust note and road noise doesn't bother me much. It's the clackety-clacking of my valve springs, lifters, and rockers that gets to me when idling at lights.
