As for installing the HUD, I would keep this thread TTT and hope that the "Human Corvette Encyclopedia" CF Member "Patches" catches it. That member has an extraodinary wealth of Corvette knowledge!

:o Thanks for the compliment but HurricanZ gets all the credit for this one. He's got a great tutorial on the retrofit and you can even get parts from him. Used systems are also available from Gene at Karshop occassionally as well as the parts section.

AFA, the Ti's, GM and Corsa both make Ti' systems. As stated above, look in the 4sale section for a used set at a great price. For grins, I once got a quote on a new GM system from a dealer: ~$2500 retail and ~$1600 from a forum dealer.
The used systems are a true bargain. They'll outlast the car, they sound nice and they are as light as the proverbial feather.
