The other option - and a little more immediate is take a look at the underside of the cargo compartment cover on the driver's side of your car. On that cover is the full list of all RPO codes on your car.
Then go out to this web site - http://home.fuse.net/corvette/rpo.htm and decipher away!
I would still PM SpongeVette as Glenn suggested - from the query that SpongeVette runs, you'll get the born on date and other origination information, but more importantly - if you ask for it - the service history on your car.
