Fellas, I just saw some new wheels by AR called the z50 and it says they are for a corvette. What I don't know is what year vette they fit. Also if you know the offsets, please post them, and if you have seen these wheels on a C5 tell me your opinion. thanks

Not exactly a new wheel.

They were made for C5's, and as far as I know, were discontinued about a year ago.

Nice looking 1pc forged wheel, that were priced outrageously high for what you'd expect from a generic "bargain" brand like AR.

This is the wheel:

This is the wheel on a C5:

I think they were trying to get like $3600/set for them in stock C5 sizes only (17x8.5 and 18x9.5). Not worth it.

They were made in both chrome and black chrome and I know the black chrome model has been discontinued. Not certain about the regular chrome. The black chrome was a nice looking wheel.

The wheel is discontinued. They were forged and had problems with their forging vendor, and finally just let it die quietly. Too bad, I think it's a very sharp wheel. If you have these now be very careful around curbs!

Actually they were only made in Z06 sizes... They were supposed to be a licensed GM aftermarket piece....

I heard the problem was with the plating.. not the forgings... I have a set of black chrome Z50's. Very cool and for sure NOT a wheel you'll see on every third or fourth C5!!

They are a nice looking wheel, but way overpriced for an AR wheel. I saw a set on a car at last year's Cruise-in and they looked very good.

I have these wheels on my C5. If interested, I will sell. They have Michelon Pilots mounted on them right now. How does $2,000 for the set of 4 sound. Balanced and ready to mount!..Tires have 80% tread left!
