Default Protocol

OK I have nerver owned a vert untill two weeks ago, I have never driven with top down, it looks about 50/50 for the windows up/down the deciding factor is the wife, I am looking forward to summer to enjoy this new feature, I think thats a little crazy to have the top down in 40 deg weather I think it will have to be a few deg warmer for me but I will remember to keep my shirt on since I'm not a demigod anymore but my wife can still turn quite a few heads, I 've had my windows tinted so they would stick out if I was driving top down windows up, the only thing for sure is that I always wave !!!!

At my age have stated leaving top up even when beautiful and nice out. Something about that AC that I have learned to love, and the sun burns my bald head.

"Window Protocol" You can't seriously be thinking "What are other people going to think" when deciding whether to put your windows up or down.

I waited 50 years to get my 00 Vert, 6 spd... My wife said I shouldn't get it. "My hair will blow... I won't look good... I probably won't be able to ride with you at all... I'll look silly..."...
I said... OK...what's the downside?
Had the Vette for 3 years. She loves it (secretly). If I go somewhere she always tags along... with the windows DOWN...
She likes the Vette better than her Caddy CTS...
Truth wins every time........................

How bad should I feel about driving with the top down and the windows up?
Hmmmmm. How bad do you feel about driving around with your wife? Wouldn't be a problem with me! Mary Katherine (a girlfriend at the time) drove around with me all winter in my Spitfire in 1966 with the top down in the 40 degree weather. She loved it. Guess it depends on the woman, doesn't it?

Don't like it?

Who cares...............

It's got to be raining before the top goes up, but I refuse to be cold, so it's window up and heater full blast.

Whatever is comfortable works!! Heater one windows up or down doesn't matter. Be comfortable and in a Vette it doesn't get any better.

It's the same answer as the question of "which way should my sun-visors point" -- Anyway you want and why on earth would you even care what someone else thought over something so silly?
