Default staggered rim sizes?

I am sure this is an easy question. I am looking at new rims, but the ones i am looking at only come in 18s. If i dont put 17 and 18s on is it going to cause any issues?
Thanks.

having the same size rims will not be an issue. However having the same size tires would be an issue. The car needs to have the REAR tires taller than the front, i've heard that it likes at least .5" but i'm not exact on the number, i just know that you much ahve a taller rear tire than the front otherwise your active handeling will start giving you issues.

I have 18's on all corners. The front tires are 265 35 18 and the rear tires are 275 35 18. Never had a problem with the T/C or A/H.

Many forum members have gone to 18's all the way around, they just use different size tires front and rear.

jmartora, there are many combinations but an easy starting point is stock on the rear 275x40x18 and 245x40x18 on the front. That will give you a stock tire realationship front to rear and stock "overall" tire and wheel "diameters." No TC, ABS, or speedometer issues. One of many combinations to use 18's all around.
