someone enlighten me please....
I saw a video with the new c-6 Z06 under a tarp waiting on GM to unveil it. The catch is the car under the tarp was obviously a vert. I pointed it out to someone and they told me they saw a c-5 z06 last week that was a vert. My impression has been a z06 is only available as a FRC. Have I been wrong all this time?

No C5 Z06s ever came as a Vert from the factory. Anything that is a Z06 Vert falls under a few categories:
1. A real Z06 that has been modified to a Vert.
2. A vert with Z06 screens and emblems.
3. A 99 or 2000 FRC that has been converted to a Vert, and has the Z06 screens and emblems.
The best way to tell is to check the VIN, if there is no S in the VIN, then it's a fake.
