Lifting My Vette
I would like some input on how to jack my vette up C5. I am planning on doing some caliper mods and need to remove the wheels and do not want to hurt the underbody.
I know there are some special mounts to help. Are those needed or can I use a block of wood to jack it up to remove the wheels?
Also do the wheels need to be torqued and if so to what?

I lift mine by using the jack and some 2X6 like 405hp above. One 2X6 in the front and one in the rear. Very easy to do and have never felt the need to use pucks. Even though I made some up.

Not being a smart ***, but thats the way my C5 gets lifted and its not a shop, its at the house
I do have to drive it up into 2 X 4 first because is tooo low.
