Forgive me here but I am at my wits end. I bought my first C5 a couple of months ago and today my best friend bought an 02 Z06. Now I am really not a convertible lover too much, but I do love that piece right behind the seats that blends down into the console. I know those are for verts but is there a company or someone who can manufacture one that fits in regular C5's?? I know this may sound odd but I cant even find out what the part is even called....
waterfall huh?? makes sense. I understand there would be some modifications....I'll do a search...thanks do you happen to know what the technical term is for it? I mean the one that GM would use..
GM calls it the "Waterfall" it's a throw back from the '60's style Vettes. Same with the passenger's side grab rail on the dash. I haven't seen anyone mod their Z's with this. I think you'd have to get the cover that covers the top once down also. The lid is a tauneau cover. Plus the waterfall that attaches the tauneau to the console. Hope that helps and spelling is correct.
I have seen a "partition waterfall" for coupes and FRC's. I believe that it was either in the MidAmerica or Ecklers catalogue.
They definitely do make an aftermarket one for non verts!

I know what you mean. I like the looks of the waterfall on the vert and never understood why they didn't do a similar piece on the coupe. Some owners just stick an emblem on the back part of the console to make it look almost like a waterfall.
