I'm about to order some of the BMW jacking pads that I can lock into my vette and forget about. Just to verify, though, I do need *four* of them, correct? i.e. I've seen picture of the pucks installed right in front of the rear wheels, but not also the front side of the car.
if you want to leave them in place then 4 is the right number. If you only want to use them when you lift the car then 1 may be all you need, unless you have more than 1 jack....

Good Point! I just assumed "leave in place"...sorry

I bought 4 from Bavarian Autosports. I used a small dab of Liquidnails on them to keep them from rattling. You can't see them tucked in there and I believe it's best to always have them on. You never know when something might go wrong and you get stuck at a distant repair shop without pucks.
Before you order the jacking pucks, you might want to consider if you may want to have Andy at A&A install a set of rocker rail savers in the future. I had to remove my 4 jacking pucks when the rocker rail savers were installed. The pucks got in the way of the rail savers. Both will not work together.
