I need a phone number for Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse where vets are buying the battery tender. I bought one and then they told me not to use it outside with two covers on my car; it could cause a fumes build-up and possibly an explosion. I mailed it back to them, after talking on the phone, and it shows up on my doorsteptoday "refused". So I need to call them and this is where I got the number in the first place. Thanks for your help. Doug

Weird question there...the "standard" Batt Tender Plus model is Not designed for "outside", eg rain/wet conditions. There is a water resistant model made; same brand. As for the "fumes", maybe, but the AGM batts aren't putting out a lot of fumes.
Here's the tel # and address...fwiw, I've bought stuff for my 4 M'cycles from them for years and never had a prob or beef. GL,md
I wouldn't think the fumes are of any concern. This unit puts out so little current it shouldn't be an issue. My .02 They are probably just covering their butts in case something wierd happened and someone tried to blame it on the charger.

I think you hit it there. I think it is simply a liability issue.
