The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Zero is correct but I say "Ooooo". Sounds better IMO and veryone next to them say "O cool car!!!"

Good original question, proper answer, how about some nit-picking ?
When I look at my original window sticker:
The first line in the upper left corner is "2004 CORVETTE Z06".
The type font shows clearly the difference between the letter "O" and the number "zero".
The "O" in Corvette is not the same as the "0" in 2004.
The "0" in Z06 is the same as the zeros in "2004".
Therefore, I conclude (actually I already knew), it is Z "zero" 6.
But, it is, as always, pronounced "Zee oh six". In the U.S.
This follows the GM convention for defining "options", sometimes upgraded to "model", like Z28, Z71, etc.
The ways of the General and the car community are deep and mysterious.
And, please, no crap from the Canadians about "Zed oh six". I know, I know. I have a '71 Zed 28.
I pulled a "real" Trans-Am Camaro to St. Jovite, Quebec track for the 1968 race on a open trailer,
and all I heard was poor kids on the side of the two-lane road yelling "Zed 28, Zed 28".
It was only the 2nd year for Camaro and the Z28. They LOVE road-racing in Canada.
Excuse me, I have to go pick more nits and fight some ignorant folks about "Porche-ah" or Porche".
Thank goodness we are not in the UK. We would be driving: "Zed Naught Six."
