Tonight I was over a buddies new house that he just bought. We got some decent weather so I brought out the Z for the first time in acouple months. Now there were alot of my buddies there, who are a blast, along with my buddy's younger sister and her friends. Now her crowd is in their early to mid twenties, and I started picking up some major attitude from this crowd, especially his sister! Now I seem to be picking this up more often than not when I drive my Z around younger people that I know. I just don't get it. I am a younger guy... in my later twenties, and by no means do I push things in people's face, but I can't help but to think it's caused by my car. Do any of you guys ever experience this type of attitude? Personally, I find it annoying. But there is no way in hell that I will feel bad about working hard and treating myself well. Especially when I encounter obvious jealousy.

In my years of experience, (I'm 53) I've found, and so will you, that true friends will be happy for you. Genuinely happy. Those who act jealous probably aren't really worth having as "friends."
There will always be people that are jealous of anything you may have that they can't have...so get used to it. Now had you been bragging and all, then I can't blame them for acting the way you said they did. But since you indicate you weren't, then, it's just jealousy.
Just keep on being yourself and perhaps be on the lookout for new, more mature friends.

90% of youngsters today do not know the history of the Corvette, damn they can't even use an old dial phone.
First, they don't know what a Corvette is and second they are jealous.
I actually had a 20 year old say that mine was the best looking Ferrari that he'd seen, but he thought that Ferrari's only came in red.
