Default advice please

I need to buy a car cover for my 98 convertible. I have a two car garage and my wifes minivan is also in the garage, The problem seems to be when my kids get there bikes or skateboards os stuff out they sometimes rub/bump my car. Is there one better then another for garage kept cars? Thanks in advance for the advice

not that I know of but here is another solution. If the kids get in the passanger side all the time just park so that the mini van is on the right side of the vette.

Thick as possible I guess.... maybe old quilts and blankets on top of a cover?

I would say to boot the mini out of the garage!! If that's not possible....then I agree with Zilla.

No cover is going to help a bike rubbing down the side of the Corvette

I got a flannel car cover from Ecklers for Christmas. It will do what you need if you are talking about minor "touching" of the car. If they are crashing into it with their stuff, nothing will help.

The flannel car cover was about $150. It is an indoor cover only and has no waterproofing.

Peace

This may be the only combination that might work IMHO

How about getting a small storage shed to store the bikes in. Some can be locked so the bikes can't be easily stolen.

Your safest bet is to build a storage shed in the back of the house for the kids' bikes, scooters, etc. That is the only sure-fire way to protect that Vette. I was in the same situation with the minivan and bikes, and that was the only solution I felt totally comfortable with. Good luck!

I am very sensitive to door dings. The Noah fabric is thick enough to prevent dings and keep your car clean. However, a rain coat it is not.

I have a similar problem, and HOA won't let us have a shed. Our shiney new van looks great outside

Get rid of the bikes and skateboards.
