I always promised myself if I got the vette, I'd be happy with its performance. I got the car in August '03, and had a BLAST over the summer.
OVer the winter, well, I had to cahange the tires-- why not some spiffy red z06 calipers an cross-drilled and slotted rotors? a few phone calls and a visit to GMpartsdirect and sportbrakes.com, and I was on my way...
and then, I LOVED the sound of my car (I know I'm in the minority on this one), but wanted just a bit more sound.. would'nt a set of z06 TI exhaust be great? A few ims on the parts forum, and I was good to go.
And oh yeah... if I'm going on all these long road trips, shouldn't the car have XM radio?!?!?! Delphi skifi, a pi adapter, and a profit mount filled this order...

These mods have lasted me through the summer, but the bug has hit me again....

I just got off the phone with Carman from Vettedoctors, and have finalized my next set of mods--- Vararam intake, kooks stainless headers, kooks hi-flow cat converters, kooks x-pipe, and an ls-1 tune.
Oh, and a nice new Kirban shifter ...

While everything is apart, to round out the mods, Carman will be installing my redline parts leather shift and e-brake boot. I'll throw on the leather door handle covers when I get the car back.

now.. I wonder what I'll do NEXT year... and how long these mods will last ...
