Probably OLD news for the regulars here, but I was wondering if anyone knew who allowed this to happen!?
Yes, the owner posted a thread about this last year. Before anyone is quick to call , the pics are real. It actually did happen. The car that you see on top of the Z06 was actually parked.
I don't remember the details exactly, but it was something like the owner's friend was in the driver's seat with the car in neutral while the owner got out to take care of some business or something. I think the friend accidently hit the shifter and forced it into gear and the rest is history. Another parked vehicle was sitting directly in front of the car currently on top of the Vette in the above picture.

Sweet Jesus it was a ridiculous story. While he was pissing, his friend allegedly did the following FROM THE PASSENGER'S SEAT:
Lifted his left leg over the console and depressed the clutch.
Started the car.
Accidentally knocked the car into gear.
I wonder if his insurance company believed that BS.

I think the car in front was an SUV (maybe a chevy blazer), and the nose of the Honda kinda went under the bumper of the SUV, which made it easier for the back to climb over the vette.
Oh yeah... that's right... the owner said his friend caused the accident to happen from the passenger seat, not the driver's seat. I knew I didn't have the details exactly correct. story, but the end result is just as . I don't think anyone was hurt though.

Hmmm, Nobody was hurt when the accident accured. But it got real ugly after the fact!!!
The story does sound like . Just how fast would you have to be going and for how long following contact to drive that thing over the top like that? I hate to see great stuff ruined like this. It'll never be the same. I'd trade it for a C6.
I can believe that story only because I have another one that proves this kind of crap can happen:
This is NO JOKE:
My friend had one of those automatic engine starting devices (where you push the button on the key FOB) installed in his Mustang because he thought the one in my other friends Mercedes was cool. Well, there is a reason they don't install them in standard transmission cars!!! My buddy came out from a restaurant with his date and proceeded to TRY to impress her by push button starting his car. Well, just as he pressed the button he realized he had left the car in gear and not set the emergency brake. The car started rolling forward as it was starting up and proceed to drive across the parking lot on it's own and run straight into a Silverado pickup truck with a real nice trailer hitch! Needless to say the girl wasn't that impressed.
