i am getting new tires put on this weekend, i have narrowed it down. not going with the "run flats" due to the price. so ive narrowed it down to the Yokohama A-032a tire shown here or the Toyo T1-S tire? toyo's site is being retarded right now, but the toyo's installed and everything drive out price is 822 and the yokohama drive out is 934. need yalls opinion?
I put a new set of the Toyo Proxies on last week. I think they’re better than the OEM tires. They hold the ground much better, a lot quieter, and have good wet traction.
I especially like the rim protector. I rubbed one of my wheels against the curb once, ouch. Now there’s a think piece of rubber sticking out past the rim to protect it against parallel parking.
I love them. I put 17's on front & 18's on rear. I love them. They stick well & I really like the design pattern. Only got 4k on them, but no noticable wear either. Question though. I just had a new set of EMT's put on my 01 vette & to tell the truth, the price was about the same.
Toyo's new were about $350 rears & $260 fronts. EMT's pretty close to the same (not for sure, because dealer paid for them, but based on a few calls to tire dealers).
