Default Side view mirror has it's own mind

my left side view mirror adjusts itself sometimes when i get into the car. I have my memory set and everything but it still does it sometimes. Its very strange? Anyone else experience this?

That mirror will always return to whatever position you programmed it to when you get in the car.... it's perfectly normal

Just adjust it to where you want and then hold your memory button down to set it.... then it'll always reset to where you want it!!

Do you always use the same fob when you unlock the car? The memory positions are tied to the fobs...MEM1=Fob 1 MEM2=Fob 2.

Just a thought......

I always use the same fob. The memory has been programmed and reprogrammed till I'm blue in the face. The LH mirror looks at what it wants to. I reset and reprogram. works for 1 day, then it goes sight seeing again.Everything else works perfectly.

I have this problem right now with my 2002 TrailBlazer. Like your problem, it is only with the driver's side mirror...the other is OK. I took the vehicle in when it was still under warranty, and the dealership replaced the entire actuator and "reprogrammed" the mirrors. Although this seemed to correct the problem for a short time, it's back to its old tricks again...now I just use the switch to manually set the position. Chevy engineering rules!

I haven't heard of this one yet. But sightseeing sounds like fun. Maybe when it gets bored it'll smarten up. Just joking!! I hope you find out whats going on here. That could be maddening after awhile. I wonder if it's worth taking the door apart to check all the connections. Keep us posted.

The passenger side mirror on my Silverado is like that. Some times it goes where it belongs and other times it is off in left field. I am the only driver and I live by myself so it is definitely a wacky mirror.

Mine is doing the EXACT same thing! Same mirror. Have reprogrammed numerous times. Lasts for about 1 day. Mine goes down slightly.
