Default Black Plastic piece under front bumper....

came off on the driver side. It looks like the plastic screw was ripped out some how. Is there a quick fix to this? I was thinking of getting a black zip tie to attach it back....any other suggestions? It was only off on one side...

Check with Gene @ Fred Beans. He has a sale going on this month on GM parts for dealer cost.

Ouch, nah man I have no clue.. so I guess I can't help you. I do have a story though! I took a turn one night a lil fast and (bump bump!) the left front end of the car took a dip and the front plastic thing got lodged in the backwards position by clumps of mud. I didn't know for a week.... I had help getting it on of it's perdicament. That damn thing now turns slightly to the back. Needless to say I had fun at the X-Mas party, but I'll never drink with my "buzz on" again in my baby. Thank you, and good night.

The link to those pieces from Ecklers will do the trick. Mid-America I believe has a similar product too.

I've been researching different places, the best price so far is at Ken Fichtner, although I haven't ordered yet, they show as $14.95 for both left and right pieces.http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/ken...rtspage6.shtml

Concerning the Fred Beans special indicated above, I requested the price for all three pieces under the front, response below.

Hello Adrian,

Those do not total more than 50.00 and do not qualify for dealer cost.

That's them...Got'em and they do keep those sides in place especially since they scrape in the driveway whenever I take it to the office.

You can do this yourself by adding some large washers to the screws that hold the air dam corner pieces on. Quick and easy and cheap.
