I totally agree!!! They're really going to lose alot of business since alot of corvette owners read this forum. Sounds like they deserve to go out of business!!!
You are not the first person that I have heard that they had problems with Ecklers. In the future give Mike a call at Xtreme Motorsport in AZ. They get all my business because of the great service and great with the prices. I am sorry you had bad luck with Ecklers. I will not do any business with them that is for sure.

based on not just the 3 negative threads but all of the other comments from CF members that are coming out of the woodwork about their (lack of) customer service.
Never bought from Ecklers... reading all these threads.... Never will buy from them
I just picked up a Halltech Stinger from Nate@corvettegarage for a great deal even though their GP was over and he ws GREAT......
It was enough to make me browse the rest of their website....They good prices and Nate was a pleasure to do business with...I thinks I will be spending my moneys there :P
LAPD is good too...they messed up my order and I called to tell them and they NEXT DAY SHIPPED the missing item and I didnt even ask...Thats how you keep customers
Had nothing but problems with them and the still missing "chrome hood emblem". Maybe the guy from Ebay that sold it to me for 1/2 the price, got it from them in error ??

Get the rope pa!! ... This remindes me of the lynch mobs in the old westerns. I'm amazed at the snowball effect that is caused by a few complaints about a vendor....I've delt with ecklers for about five years and never had a problem.
Ecklers was kind of a mixed bag for me. I ordered a car cover and some other stuff off of their web page. The invoice said that the other products shipped but the cover would ship from a different facililty so they did not have shipping info.
After a week or so I called only to find out that the cover was on backorder. Gee thanks for telling me. However, the person in customer service was very helpful. She called the supplier, found out that there was no anticipated ship date for my cover, but they could send me a different color right away. Isaid OK and a few days later I had my cover.
So I found their customer service very helpful, but I should not had to have inquired on the cover in the first place. If they had no idea on a ship date they should have told me that.

ROFL, I would LOVE for Ecklers to come in here and respond to these complaints! But odds are that will NEVER happen. I'm sure next month at my Corvette Club meeting I'll be hearing from a member or two that work there. I worked there LONG ago and when Ralph Eckler owned it there would'nt be these problems. BTW, they are WELL aware of this thread and other threads in other forums.......I e-mailed them today with the links.
maybe they will care if everyone knows what a crock they are and stops giving them buisness
maybe we should all get together and email them and let themknow that their merchandise will not be purchased from forum users. Lets get a list and let them know

Add another corvette owner that WON'T be buying any thing from them!... No matter how much cheaper it is!

The interesting thing about the American public and we're all are no different is, let Ecklers run a great buy on a GP piece and 80% of you would be jumping on the bandwagon! Not denying what's been said here because I have had my own experience but making a point about human nature.
