Do the C5 verts have a factory option for a hardtop like the C4s do? If not, is the smoothline top any good........or are there other options? I'm a C4 vert guy checking in for my Bro-In-Law who's trying to make an informed decision before he buys a C5
No factory option. I have see a used smoothline for sale here. I did not like the look of it on the car. I would buy a Carvaggio if I were to spend the money. They look very close to stock. A ZO6 top can be made into a factory hard top, several guys here have them. I am lazy an do not like that you have to remove the top deck to install it.

Have seen a few Z06 tops made into Vert hardtops (even one with a targa top too!) that made the car look exactly like a Z06 with the hard top on. Very Sweet
Don't like the one with the small window much though... only the real Z06 size window.
BTW, don't forget to check out our convertible partition if he does go with the C5 Vert - he'll love it

TIA,

Smoothline and Caravaggio make the hard tops. I have a Caravaggio.
GB Vette, nice seats. I have the oak interior and was looking at some similar to that. Where did you get them? As for the top, I liked the looks of the hard top but as someone else said, those are for the high rollers.
