Problem Starting
THis probably should go over to Tech, but !!!
Question regarding Starting
A friend’s Vette has problems starting. Has 123k on it and is in pretty darn good shape. Bought it used and I did a tune on it, plugs & wires, oil change etc.
Occasionally it has a hard time starting. It cranks fine, but won’t fire right off.
A few more attemps and it fires and runs great.
Once it starts it’s just fine.
Every time I look at it and start it if fires great.
Does this sound like a fuel filter or???

Column campaign was done and he's never had problems with it and it seems to happen in all weather conditions.
That's why I was thinking a possible fuel filter problem, but than again when it runs it runs great.
I don't think the fuel pump would work, than not work, butttt??

I've had a slight version of this problem when I'm under 1/4 tank of fuel. It turns over for a bit longer before firing but always does and is fine after that. Only happens when I'm low on fuel.
