Windshield Replacement
For those who have replaced the front windshield of a Z06, did you go with the OEM part from a dealer or just a standard windshield company?
Isn't the Z06 glass thinner than the standard car?
How much did the job cost you?

yup-the z is different-i have a bb hole and had it filled and repaired-i've heard z windshields cost quite a bit more..
They are thinner, and I heard they run about $1,200.00

Unless a dealer is the only place you get the glass, why use them? You will overpay for the same part an auto glass company can get for cheaper.
