Check all option codes at this site - note that the VIN will NOT assist with decipering codes:

Go to your dealer's give them the vin # and they'll give you a complete report on the car. Service history the works. You can also post a question to Sponge Vette and he'll send you one I am sure.

Yes, Sponge Vette did I spell that right?) can run your VIN and get a factory options list for you. You can also look at the glove compartment door (or for older C5s, underside of the cover for the drivers side storage cubby) fo a list of facotry option codes...

Look inside the door of the glovebox. There is a list of your Vette's options.

My guess is he tossed away the window sticker? If not that will tell you as well.

The Corvette Museum offers a package of the original window sticker, the buildsheet, the original sales brochure and the Corvette Blackbook for $90. You can even order the build sheet and the window sticker laminated.

Depending upon the year. You can get all the codes from a decal in the (depending on the year) glove box or on bottom of the cover of the rear storage compartment on the drivers side. If possible, have the seller take a pic and email it to you ahead of time and we can help you decipher the codes.

Since you didn't specify the year for us, You can get started on the codes here:
