Bob, save up another few hundred bucks ($1300.00 complete system) and get yourself the new LG Street system.

I was going to- but after talking to LG, they told me the streets are not setup for 97-00's. I didn't want to get into the AIR tube swap...

Well that sucks It's a royal PITA to swap the AIR tube, without removing the intake.

yeah- that's what they told me...I still may go that route and get an LS6 intake while I am at it...its hard to pass up those at their prices...

Probably have to butter Rog up for some cheap labor!

Sorry for the off the topic question, but to get these LG headers, why would you need to go to LS6 Intake? And if you do get the LS6 air Intake alone, will that solve the problem?

The LS6 intake takes in more air and so the full benifit of this MOD on the LS1 engine would be to add headers to exhaust out more.
Big air in...big air out = More HP after a tune

Plus since you would have to change out the AIR tubes- its easier to do this swap with the manifold off the car...so the timing is right to do the swap...it does make a difference over the stock LS1 intake...
