Default Larry Meaux AFR 225's and Patrick G cam.

Heads are sold. I still have the cam.

I have a set of Larry Meaux ported AFR 225 small bore heads and a Patrick G cam I need to sell. This combo made 497rwhp and 457rwtq on a LS6 3.90 bore 383. They have 55cc combustion chambers with stock valve train and include an after market valve train. The heads have less than 1,000 miles since full refreshening with upgraded springs, locks, retainers, valves, seats, and seals. They also come with +.300 Ferrea valves with 1.55 solid roller springs, super 7 locks and TI retainers. Asking $1,600 shipped with paypal 3% included. Here are the flow numbers.

int. no clay------exh. no pipe
.100---26-------.100---66.3
.200---146------.200---113.7
.300---203.5----.300---156.4
.400---259.6----.400---195.9
.500---306.3----.500---216.4
.600---330.7----.600---230
.700---333------.700---337

The cam is a Patrick G custom grind with 239 LSK intake lobe and a 244 XER exhaust lobe. .651 intake and .612 exhaust lift on a 112+2. Cam has about 3,000 miles on it. Asking $275 shipped including Paypal 3%.

Both items are still on the car. Please alow about a week for shipping.

Yes the engine is stroked. 4.00" Eagle crank in a 3.905" bore.

On the refresh I used AFR/Ferrea valves. 2.08" intake and 1.60" exhaust. I also used AFR 8019 springs with AFR TI retainers and locks. The specs on the cam are 239/244 .651/.612 on a 112+2 lobe seperation. I drive the car every day so it is compleatly streetable. I thought the lift was high as well but it doesn't seem to be any thing out of the norm now a days.

The price is set pretty low so I can just get rid of them with out any haggling. I can't stand low ballers and tire kickers who have an opinion on what you should charge on an item.

Dude you need to ask $1850 for the heads only. **** those heads are almost $3k with the extra porting and springs, upgraded parts you are offering. List them on LS1tech, they will sell very quickly.

Guys this setup is so damned nasty, I mean this car sounds like is is possessed! Dont sleep on this steal of a deal.

Thanks fellas. I think the porting was aroud $1,500 by its self. I know these heads made 550rw on a 346 that Alan Futral built.

Interested in the heads.

What would compression ratio be with these on a stock LS6 shortblock with OEM head gasket?

Thanks, Perry

Compression would be around 12.08:1 which is exactly what I run right now on pump gas with no detination with the cam I am selling. Your dynamic compression is only 8.8 or so.

Perry,

You need to go ahead and get these brother. This is one of the best deals on the forum. If brett would have told me he was going to sell I might have stepped up to the BIG DOG heads however I dont want to tear my car apart again.

Do you plan to shoot Nitrous with the kit I sold you? If so you have a 700 HP monster in the works

That cam brett is selling would work well for you also with the 4 degree split.
