You can mount them where ever you want and be as clean as you want to be with wiring. We suggest that you mount them @ the bottom of the inner fender. The wiring stays tucked in under your lights. Very Clean Install. Here is a link to the instructions
What's this "glare" and "hot spot" effect some guys are talking abut with HID kits? They didn't mention your kit, but not sure what the were referring to.

can't speak on behalf of what you get on the auction site. You get what you pay for. Some people have had really bad luck with less expensive kits. Not all kits are plug and play and you WONT beat my customer service.

These are completely plug and go. the eBay kits want you to cut the factory wiring and splice them in. If you ever see these lights on a C5 and the difference they make, you will not hold off after that.....it's a 30 something thousand dollar car....don't get cheap on electrical stuff.

My biggest concern is avoiding blue. I'm in Southern California and can't even count how many friends have been stopped for blue lights.
I'm looking for an improvement over factory - lots of white light.

There is a video posted with someone running his lights in his links but it isn't working, does someone have another copy of it? Anyone know what brightness level they are?

I already have the 1K hids with the enclosures. I was thinking about getting the high beam hids. The kit for the fog lights I purchased of ebay was plug and play and works fine. I thought it was a valid question for the vendor. What does this have to do with how much I paid for my car?

If you get a set of the 6000k low beams you will probably never need the high beams again, it makes a STUNNING difference when you 1st see them. These are HID bulbs and take a few seconds to warm up, thus turning them on and off quickly will wear the bulbs out, they need to reach full temp to make the bright white light and flipping back and forth as on coming traffic comes up will wear the bulbs out fast, if you have highs on and have to switch to lows you will NOT have full brightness for a few seconds, they will have to 'warm up' for 2-4 seconds. I have all 3 on mine...Low, High, and the Fogs converted as well, I pretty much wasted the $$ on the High beams as I have used them MAYBE 3 times in the last year. I went with 6000k on all 3 sets I bought. Of all the mods I have on the car, this is the one I recommend 1st to almost everyone, trust me...it makes THAT much of a difference!

If you installed the HID low/high beam kits would that mean that switching from high beam to low you would have 2-4 seconds of darkness????
Maverick, were did you get the HID for the Fogs?

Payment sent, I need something to do over the winter (yes, we do have a winter in Northern California) and this looks like a must do upgrade for a newer C5 owner.
