WTB C5 Fender Spears
Seen them at Ecklers, but don't quite wanna commit to their price. Was hoping maybe someone had some from a damaged car or bought them and didn't like them, or if you know of a less expensive option. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

I just installed mine. you will need the screens...the spears attach to them with small screws that are a pain to start in the tapped holes. they look sharp, you will need to remove your bsms if you have them now. remove your wheels to make the install way easier regardless of what the instructions say...also be careful about getting them level...it's tricky and time consuming to get it right....and you do not have to mount them exactly in the center of the duct opening...I put mine higher to make it look more stylish...you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for the tips. I did read a "how to" guide about installing these. Made it seem sooooooo easy, but I figured it was lying to me, and you just confirmed it. Thanks for the warning!

Oh, one other important thing to save your finger tips from bleeding all over the place. before installing the spears, run the small screws in and out of the tapped holes several times...first time will be a ****!...then add a little oil or grease to the threads. This will make the cumbersome final install way easier...I learned this the hard way and had to wait for my fingers to heal b4 tackling the other side.

They are CCW T10's. Available at www.corvettegarage.com.
When I saw those wheels in that picture a few months ago, I had to have them. Took me a few days to figure it out.
