Default F/S Vortech T-Trim S/C Kit. A and A

SOLD!!

FS A&A Vortech T-Trim Kit C5 (Incomplete) $3500
LOWER PRICE~!! now $3000!!

I have sold my C5 and now I am selling the Vortech kit that was on it.

What’s included with the kit:
-Vortech T-trim V2 WITH ZERO MILES ON IT. It had a minor rebuild performed by Vortech and in the box it has sat.
-8 rib pulley setup (incomplete, see below) with a 3.33” pulley on the Head unit.
- Ram air intercooler, with passenger side input pipe. Latest A&A style.
-Vortech BOV
-Truck loads of T-Clamps
-160* thermostat (for c5 water pumps ‘early style’)
-Water pump gaskets
-Extra rubber 90* pressure hose.
-Extra 4” ID rubber cut to fit coupler (not pictured)
-Newer style Dongle from A &A
-Newer style Air Filter from A&A (not Pictured…. it was dirty, dirty girl )
-all Grade 8 bolts, washers, spacers for an 8rib system.

What is missing with the Kit:
If you want to use an 8 Rib system, you will need;8 rib harmonic balancer, power steering, and Alternator pulleys (est $900)

-Engine oil feeding to the Supercharger head unit. Engine Block adaptor fitting, steel braded line, and the Low pressure Oil return line that goes back into the block. (est $40) If you want to keep the unit sealed please contact A & A corvette for correct S/C lube and plugs.

-90* polished Input pipe from IC to MAF (with hole drilled for IAT) (est $35)
- Black couplers that mate the Input pipe to the MAF, and to the TB. Qty2 4”dia.
-60LB injectors. (est $250)
-Walbro 255 fuel pump and/or BAP. (est $250)
-One way check valve that connects with Brake Booster (est $0.50)
-1/4” vacuum line that connects the BOV, to the system. (est $4)
-Pin for the Crankshaft (est $1)
-Radiator Cradle spacing kit (to lower the radiator) (est $15)
-Air Shroud. The Tin metal sheet that fits above the radiator to prevent air from spilling over. (est $35)
-some smaller nuts and bolts.

HISTORY: the kit was on the car for about 1500 mi. The head unit failed (Impeller seal started to leak oil). I removed the S/C kit and while the head unit was completely overhauled by Vortech I sold the car.

Damage to the system:
I believe in being an honest seller and wanting to show ALL the imperfections, however minor.
The newer style dongle has a ’dent’ in it. I used a heat gun to make this crater to clear my stock hood.

The coupler that I used to attach the S/C to the Dongle has an angle cut, and may not fit your application.

The side panel for the ram air kit has a chemical stain. This is cosmetic only. I spilled some Simple green on it and did not know about it for a few months.

Forms of payment:
-I prefer Cash and a handshake if you are local or find someone local.
-Buyer pays shipping. I’m guessing from $60 to $150. I already have a box ready.
- I do take Credit cards. Please add 4.5% and 4 business days to process.
-I do take checks. Please add 5 business days for funds to clear.
-I do take Pay Pal. please add 3%
For quickest response please email me at ccarpenter@Futurenetaz.com
Cheers
Chad

this is tempting...
i am looking for the headunit model, is this V2 T trim meant for larger displacement engine?
what amount of boost does that 3.33" pulley make?
is there any warranty left on blower headunit (since its been rebuilt)
any pics of this installed? i assume it came off a C5?

this is a TOTAL WAG, but from my reading if you want to make 7 to 10Lbs on a LS3, 402 (stroked LS2), or 427 then this is the head unit you want.
If you want to make 10+LBS on a LS1/LS6 (346ci) this unit will get you there with room to grow.

This is a 3.33" pulley. on a 402ci, with 10.3:1 CR this unit made 7 to 8 LBS.
the Compression ratio and cam overlap can vary the boost also.

ooh good question... I dont know. the original manf warranty expired on Oct of 09. I dont know how long they support this head unit.
I do know it had what is called a "Minor" rebuild in late Sept 09 from Vortech. I use "" on the word minor cus the sun-o-bt*h costs me $850 to do (its a Heavy duity case) on a car that i did not own any more.
.... but i knew if I was going to sell it and recoup any money the head unit hat to be in TIP-Top shape. besides I dont sleep at night when I dont tell the 100% truith.

kind of.. is there something in partiicuar you want to see? There are a lot of photos to rifle through.
YES it is for a C5 with a LS1/LS6/LS2 engine.

ahh... i have a 427 c5R with 11.8:1 CR... i need to be in the 7-10psi range (10psi at most). seems like your pulley would put me there?

as for a pic, i guess just a general pic of it in the engine bay?

is it a polished unit or satin?

do you have a line on buying any of the part you are missing?

Yea, i know that rebuilds can get expensive. i had to send to my ati headunit in for a rebuild and it was 450 or so... just the front and rear seal. couldn't imagine what a full internal rebuild would cost! haha..

thanks for the answer...

it is polished.
I can email you some of the pictuers I have, but in reality go to A & A webiste and you will see the hole kit-n-kabootale there, with engine picts and all.
PM your email address and ill zip them off toyou.

as fo the MIA parts
fuel injectors. I see them here on Corvette forum and there are deals from some of the vendors from time to time.

Fuel pump. with the 427 AND a S/C I bet you are looking at a Walbro 255GPH in tank pump and an inline unit. However I am not a pro. Andy and Steve (a and a corvette) have been awesome to me for the past several years. I suggest calling them and they have the fuel system and the little 'bits-n-peices' sitting on a shelf ready to ship.

To OP: why dont u contact andy at AA, and get the quote from him howmuch additional cost to make this a complete kit (including 8 rib missing items), or send this kit to andy and let em make a complete kit (whatever additional parts) and let andy ship this to seller.

Iam sure AandA will definetly help to make this a complete kit for an additional cost ofcourse. Just my suggestion FYI.

Edit: is this a self contained or needs to drill oil pan for oil feeeding to headunit, BTW this is T trim bigger than S trim. GL on sale man, not really interested but could be u never know.

im trying to get out of this with as little money spent as possible.
A possible buyer may already have some of the parts, or find a good value used deal better than I can buy new.

this kit was originally set up to drill into the pan to feed the headunit. the mechanics of the Supercharger are the same. only a plug and filling plug are needed to make this a self conatined unit.
yes the T trim flows more CFM and is a step up from the S-trim and Si-trim.

AJ, as you know I have some extra parts that you will need to make this work, ie. 60 lb injectors and if you go to the 8 rib system I now have the power steering and alternator pulleys. Not trying to steal your thread but get AJ the parts he will need, GL on the sale, cheers
