BRAND NEW Garmin 1300T GPS
Alright, here's the deal. I have a BRAND NEW Garmin 1300T GPS system that I need to sell. Someone bought me this as a gift but I have no use for it because I already have a GPS system. This GPS system is 100% brand new and in it's original packaging. This model speaks street names instead of just saying turn left in 100ft, this model will tell you to turn left on Elm St, etc. The 1300T also comes with liftetime traffic (which alerts you of future traffic problems ahead and will re-route you to avoid getting stuck in traffic). It has all of the bells and whistles and a HUGE 4.3" wide screen. This model currently sells for $269.99 at Best Buy & $279.99 at Amazon.

haha, that's my user name (what my Corvette tag says). this GPS was bought 2 days ago from best buy so I'm assuming it has the most current to date maps.

I got this as a gift from my girlfriends mother. She paid for it via Best Buy card. If I were to take this back to Best Buy they will only refund the purchase back to her card. Which means I would have to ask her for her Best Buy card, the receipt, and then on top of that all they could do is return the credit back to her card. Trust me I have already called them and spoke to customer service, otherwise I would have just taken it back.

Not 100% true about the Best Buy refund:
My mother won a similar GPS in a contest about 6 weeks ago. My entire family already has GPS units, so I took the unit into Best Buy and told them I had received it as a gift and don't have the receipt. They asked who bought it, I told them my mother, and they looked up her name. Obviously they didn't find it. The girl then proceeded to give me store credit, which I used towards a Blu-ray player. So in your case, just tell them your brother bought it.
Not the most honest story, but Best Buy has royally screwed me in the past, so I try to return the favor when possible...
Regardless of what you do, best wishes in the liquidation of the GPS!
Jared
PS: and a Happy New Year!

I'm glad your issue was resolved with them, but the only thing they can do is return the refund how it was paid for. In other words you don't pay with debit and get cash back, you pay with cash you get cash returned, you pay credit you get credit returned. Make sense?

Safety Car
That is a great unit that works well. I just had one stolen out of one of my cars on Christmas night..... (I know yours is not the one I had stolen)
Good luck with the sale.
