FS: Valve spring replacement tool
This is the tool regularly seen on LS1tech and the internet. I also purchased the spark plug hose adapter to make the job simpler. I tried the TDC method before and was very frustrated. The air compressor attachment seen here made all the difference. Purchased last month for $65. Selling for $40 shipped. I can also provide some tips on the spring replacement process. Maybe I can save YOUR knuckles.

Dyno proved that my valve "resonance" was elminated by installing the yellow gm springs in my 2000 C5. I gained back 15 hp at 5800 rpm. Alle years through 2000 have these weak valve springs.
You can buy the yellow springs from the auction site, use this tool, and reclaim 15 hp. I will post my dyno sheet this weekend.
Total cost to replace with yellow springs is $100 with this tool. You supply the time (4-6 hours - don't let anybody kid you) and metric sockets and wrenches. Air compressor needed.

Melting Slicks
The Tim's valve spring tool is the best thing for a spring change. I will NEVER part with mine. It may be simple looking but it works well.
Hundreds of people use them on LS1Tech.
The air hose method is the only way I would do it with the heads on the car.
