Question: Do they leave a film on the paint after using them? I bought a cheap set from fleabay, and after using them, They left a nasty film behind that was a pain to remove.

I purchased one from a "big Corvette magazine vendor" - used it on the fender, as well as the rear hatch area. I too, saw the "film" ... but it came off easily with Meguiars Quik Detailer.

Me too several years ago but I just wiped the back of them off with fantastik and they were fine. I was a little leary about putting these in the product line but these new ones do not have the film.

---FANTASTIK idea! I will try that. Honestly though, it wasn't a big deal to clean-up with Quik Detailer ... and the product is terrific (or, should I say, fantastik?)!
