I still have the stock shifter in my 02 Z and am looking for a new shifter, I don't really know the difference from all the different ones out there. What do you mean by "nochiness"?

Thanks

Some shifter take more effort than others to get into gear. Hurst & B&M are notchy BUT I like a shifter that has a more positive feel. The MGW has a VERY short throw and is too notchy for my tastes.

Approximately how tall will this shifter with the burst leather **** stand compared to a stock c5 shifter? Also how much throw reduction should I expect with this set up compared to the stock c5 set up?
Thanks in advance for the info. I'm just inches away from pulling the trigger.

It will have about a 25% reduction in throw and the height is about 1" LOWER
