HRE 540 Wheels

HRE 540 Wheels
Selling a used set of HRE 540's.
H28P568010 (18x9 with 56mm offset)
H29P508020 (19x10 with 50mm offset)
Centers are chrome, lips are polished. Chrome has some small bubbling in a few areas. Lips could use a polish.
I just talked to Vince Borja who is the service guy for HRE and who is VERY helpful. We discussed having these wheels restored to new condition and the various pricing. There are many options for finishes a person can choose. Basically to have HRE completely go through these wheels checking for trueness, disassemble, wire brush the hoops, polish lips, strip old chrome and apply new, reassemble and balance etc., (make them new all over again) would cost right in the neighborhood of $1,000-1,200. Worthwhile to note that Chrome is also the most expensive option. For example changing the centers to powdercoated is going to save you big bucks from that quote.
The price I'm posting these for is one that I think is fair for someone wanting to have them sent to HRE and completely rebuilt to their own liking. There are many finish options whether you like chrome, powder or polish.
These have no curb damage and may be nicer than you are thinking. I'll vouch that these wheels are not damaged in any way and will pass HRE inspection.
More pictures as I get them, here they are mocked up.
I cannot help with fitment questions, everything needed to figure that out is in those series of numbers. I'm almost certain these will fit all c5 Corvettes, outside that I have no idea.
My price is $1775, Shipping and Paypal vig we can split.
Thanks.
I'm in Portland Oregon if you want to check these out in person.

Am very interested in your wheels, I need to check and see if the HRE's will fit over the caliper covers that I currently have on my vette, or if you know?
Thanks Pat

Pat I wish I had the answer to that but I don't. My hunch is that these will clear anything stock wheels will clear but the key word is hunch.
If there are any measurements or any help I can provide please ask me.
Also Vince at HRE service is quite knowledgable and helpful and might have the answers you need. I was able to get him on the phone yesterday after about 30 seconds of holding.
Thanks.

Thanks, I'll give him a call and get an answer. I just found about this problem with the caliper covers when I started looking into new wheels, however your wheels are very nice and I might think about removing them for the wheels (Just a thought!)

Hey just wondering how much of a dish these wheels have? It's tough to tell from the pictures... Also, I will be at the racetrack in Grass Valley on Saturday, how far from there are you? Cheers
