How would the average Joe achieve the balance that these allow for? I assume that would have to be done by a pro who has the know-how and equipment, correct?

To get it done correctly it would have to be done by a professional but some will do it with just a tape measure which will get it close just not perfect

some members have been asking about one customer wh had a problem with these and here is thier answer

The rear top mount is as shown in the catalog picture and on the Website. In following the the thread provided I want to be sure I address their questions.

1.) The noise (clunking) complaint was a result of the rear top eye ring on the shock making contact with the bracket when a hard bump was encountered. The solution was simply pressing a hole through the bracket so the eye ring does can no longer make any contact with the bracket.

2.) The bracket ears alignment question was the result of the user inadvertently swapping the brackets left and right. While they look identical, they are not and it moves the shock alignment to far when the wrong one is used. We mark all of the kits with a "L" on the left bracket to prevent this. We also have a life size diagram of each part in the installation instructions which some folks may be ignoring.

These also now have FREE SHIPPING to the 48 states! (The website will charge shipping but we will adjust it off once we process the order)

and to make the deal even better . . . .

If you find a cheaper shipped price we will not only match it but will beat it by 10% of the difference! Email me at patrick@gmpartshouse.com for this offer
