FS: Spec Stage 2+ clutch & flywheel - C5 Corvette
For Sale: $335 shipped
10/25/12 Edit: I was mistaken on the part number for this clutch. Spec confirmed to me in an email that this is actually their Stage 2+ clutch kit and not the 3+ that I originally listed.
I'm going to put my spare clutch up for sale. This is a Spec Stage 2+ clutch assembly (pressure plate, clutch plate, steel flywheel (SC75S), and slave shim). This clutch was installed in my friend's '98 C5 Corvette for approximetely 1,800 miles before he decided to sell it. I got the task of returning the car to stock before he put it up for sale. I have been holding the clutch as a backup spare for my '99 Corvette, but thought I would try to sell it to help buy a new stall converter for my Nova.
The clutch was working fine when I pulled it. There isn't any wear on the flywheel, but the pressure plate has a couple of heat marks. I wouldn't hesitate to install this in my car if/when my LS7 clutch fails. These pictures were taken this evening and are pictures of the actual clutch that is for sale.
A quick Google shows the Stage 2+ clutch sells for $449 and SC75S flywheel sells for $233.
This clutch kit and flywheel are the same part number for both C5 Corvettes and '98-'02 F-bodies.

10/25/12 Update:
I had to revise the original ad after I received a confirmation from Spec that this is actually a C5 Spec Stage 2+ clutch kit and not the 3+. Sorry for my confusion. But glad I was able to straighten it out before someone bought it.
