Default ***FS: Low Beam 35W ballasts and 6000K Bulbs for OEM housing

Bought an ACA projector setup from a fellow forum member and now selling my current low beam light set. Xentec 35W Low Beam ballasts and Corvette Mods 6000K HID bulbs. The bulbs are mostly white, with a slight blue tint. I bought the bulbs new about a year ago and hardly ever used my headlights. The ballasts are from the previous owner of the ACA setup, I choose not to install them as they were advertised as 55W, but were not. Since it is the same output of my current ballasts, I saved myself the hassle of installation.

You *might* need a resistor to make the headlight buckets open and close properly. Some folks need it, and others do not. I did need it, and will be keeping the resistor I have to operate the new ACA setup. These can be purchased cheap through some of the forum vendors

They are plug and play. You disconnect the factory halogen bulb from OEM harness, plug in the 35w ballast to the OEM side, then add the new HID bulb to the other side of the ballast. You may need some sort of 3M body tape to mount the ballast in your desired location. Zip ties also work. I used both and mounted the ballast on the fender liner just under the headlamp.

Asking $50 + shipping. Paypal accepted. Located in Chicago. A comparable setup would run $70 + shipping new from Corvette Mods.

Here are some pictures.

Here are some quick nighttime pics I took. I didn't use the flash for any of them so you can see the raw light.

No lights at all looking out my garage

OEM Halogen high beams only which should give you a good comparison to the HID low beams

HID low beams only

After they have warmed up a few seconds

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thought I had a sale pending, but no money in hand yet or communication from the buyer. So these are still available.

All packed up and ready to go to their new home. Who wants them?

Resistors can be purchased here. May be able to find similar at a local Radio Shack though too?
